We are thrilled to introduce you to our newest collection: SALT
Like much of my work, I was inspired by my travels to paint this series that reflect some of the most gorgeous places I've had the pleasure to experience.
Featuring 21 larger-scale interpretations of the coast.
Growing up in the Lowcountry, the sea salty air lives in my bones.
I've chased the ocean ever since, ending up in St. Petersburg, Florida where I currently call home.
The ocean calls to me and the Gulf Coast provides the kind of soul nourishing lifestyle that provokes creativity, community, and serenity.
Though I painted from memory - that kind of experiential, all-senses engaged memory that transforms your opinion of a place - the following photos helped to inform these works. I hope that you fall in love with the coastal landscapes presented in this collection as much as I've enjoyed recreating them.
The salt air flows through the air like whisper...
Watch the tide rise and recede...
Feel the dew on your skin...
Taste the salt in the air...
Smell the ocean...
That's the spirit of SALT.
